RYLA
Chair: Robert Albritton
Time: Feb-May
The purpose of the committee is to identify high school students with leadership qualities and to arrange for them to attend the annual RYLA conference in Ridgetown Ontario. We work with high school counselors to identify students and lately also with the new Interact clubs and their faculty sponsors in the large high schools. The conference occurs on the second weekend in May. Transportation is arranged to transport the students (14 last time) to Southfield where they will board buses to Ontario. After the conference, letters are sent back to the sponsoring club from the attending students.
