UM Rotaract "Adopts" Family

The University of Michigan's Rotaract Club has "adopted" a family for the holidays! The wonderful family has a single mother who is going to school full-time, working part-time, and raising two adorable children, ages six and seven. They are living with Grandma's house (who is unfortunately in-and-out of the hospital with diabetes complications) while Mom saves money. As students themselves, Rotaract members were in awe of this strong mother and wanted to give her family the best Christmas ever!

Members shopped for toys, clothing, household goods, gas cards, and a grocery gift card from the family's wishlist. Then they listened to holiday music and got to know each other while they wrapped. Rotaract will deliver these gifts on December 21st.
