Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored international service club for young professionals between the ages of 18 and 30. As one of Rotary’s most significant and fastest-growing service programs, with more than 7,000 clubs in about 163 countries and geographical areas, Rotaract has become a worldwide phenomenon. The Michigan Rotaract Club started in 2000 and officially chartered January 18, 2005. It is now one of the strongest clubs in our newly established district. Rotaract Clubs organize a variety of projects and activities, depending primarily on the interests of the club members. However, within the Rotaract program, all clubs undertake five categories of activities:

LOCAL SERVICE

INTERNATIONAL SERVICE

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

NETWORKING

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Our Mission Statement The University of Michigan Rotaract Club is an organization of young adults that provides opportunities for individuals to serve the local and international communities, whilst providing professional development and leadership skills. As member of the Rotary International family, we have access to invaluable resources and an established network of professionals world wide.
